UP

  1.      Now is the time to develop instructional goals for staff. You have no doubt been reflecting on ways instruction went well last year to build on and areas in need of improvement. Consider the scope and sequence or your academic program to help students move smoothly between grades. Look to grade level improvements you would like to see. Finally you may want to deal with specific areas one staff person can improve. Commit these to writing and look at them again before teachers develop Professional Growth Plans.

  2.      You should have at least a draft of your goals for 2008-09. This is one area you may want to have a trusted veteran review with you. If you do not have someone, check out our Leadership Coaching link. See Calendar #2c.
