Ten years ago, CharterSource started with a handful of charter school boards and a belief that good governance is something you can teach.
Since then we have trained more than 2,250 board members, supported 75 schools, and reached 25,000 students. The work now stretches from Minnesota to Texas and Wyoming. None of it happened in a room by ourselves.
Join us for breakfast on November 12 with the board members, school leaders, funders, and partners who built this decade alongside us.
2016
Beth Finch founds CharterSource to support Minnesota charter boards.

The Operations Institute launches, training the staff who keep schools running.

The StartRight Framework takes our start-up support to schools in Texas.
2025
Holly Amaya steps in as Executive Director as Beth retires.
2026
The Board Self-Assessment launches and our first Wyoming partnerships begin.
