Ten years ago, CharterSource took root with a handful of charter school boards and a belief that good governance is essential for school success.

From that beginning, the work has grown steadily. We have trained more than 2,250 board members, supported 75 schools, and reached 25,000 students, with our work now stretching from Minnesota to Texas and Wyoming. None of it grew on its own. We cultivated it alongside people, many of whom are in this room, who believe in strong schools as much as we do.

We invite you to celebrate our first decade at the Walker Art Center, for breakfast on February 18. Founder Beth Finch will share how CharterSource began, and board members and school leaders will talk about what this work has meant for their schools. You will reconnect with familiar faces, meet others who share a commitment to charter school excellence, and get a first look at what the next ten years hold.

Whether you have been part of this work from the beginning or are just getting to know CharterSource, there is a seat for you at the table. Come celebrate what has taken root over the past decade, and rise with us into the next one!
